I was recently looking at a stained glass image of myself—at first, I thought it just looked cool. But the longer I stared, the more I saw something deeper.
Each jagged piece reminded me of a season, a struggle, a part of my story. Some sharp. Some dark. Some beautiful. All broken.
And yet… together, they formed something powerful. Something whole.
It made me think: isn’t that all of us?
We all carry pieces of our story that feel cracked or unfinished. We’ve all been through setbacks, disappointments, or seasons where we wondered if we were really making any progress. But here’s the truth:
“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.” — 2 Corinthians 4:7 (NLT)
We are vessels—flawed, yes—but filled with something eternal.
And when we surrender our brokenness to God, He doesn’t discard it. He designs with it. He crafts beauty from what felt like rubble.
So how do we start walking in that truth?
• Embrace your story – It’s not too messy to be used. In fact, that’s exactly what God loves to use.
• Stay rooted – In the Word, in prayer, in a community that lifts your eyes higher.
• Take small, bold steps – You don’t have to leap. Just move forward with intention and faith.
• Reflect light – Even through the cracks, especially through the cracks, God’s light shines.
You are not disqualified by your past. You’re being shaped for something greater.
And if you’re feeling stuck—like you’re ready for more, but not sure how to get there—I’d love to walk with you.
I’m opening up a few spots for life coaching right now.
