Humbly Confident: The Tension That Transforms You

Let’s be real—“humility” gets thrown around like it means being quiet, weak, or shrinking back. And “confidence”? That’s often twisted into arrogance, ego, and loud bravado.

But here’s the truth: You were never called to play small.

Jesus didn’t walk around unsure of Himself. He knew who He was—and still chose to serve.

That’s the tension. That’s the power.

Humble confidence is knowing exactly who you are in Christ, without needing to prove it.

It’s walking in boldness—not because you’re perfect, but because you’re anchored.

Philippians 1:6 (NLT): “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished…”That’s confidence.

1 Peter 5:6 (NLT): “So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” That’s humility.

Here’s how you live out humble confidence:

1. Stop disqualifying yourself in the name of “being humble.”

2. Own your gifts without boasting.

3. Walk in purpose even if you feel unqualified.

4. Serve others without losing your strength.

You can be grounded AND gritty. Secure AND bold. Humble AND on fire.

Let’s stop choosing sides when God has called us to bith—to walk with power AND perspective.

If you’re tired of living too small or swinging too hard, let’s talk.

Shoot me a message.

You were made to walk in humble confidence—and I’ll help you get there.
